About the Product
The 9800X3D chip is a beast, but I have found that my unit runs a little warm at idle (+/- 40 to 45 degrees at roughly 22 degrees ambient). I wonder if this is from extra heat coming from the gen 5 m.2 I've installed, as it sits directly under the CPU and runs in the mid 40s idling. It could also be the cooler, but there doesn't seem to be anything faulty with it. There are some people on Reddit experiencing similar findings, so either this is normal or it's product variance. Under load and gaming there are no problems and the chip never goes above 80 in Cinebench or 65 when gaming.
The Lancool 207 is a very high quality case for the price and I really like the quick release mechanisms for the panels. The max PSU length is 160mm, which is what mine is. Most builds I've seen use slightly smaller PSUs, which is what I'd recommend. Overall, cable management wasn't a struggle, but I think given that my stock PSU cables are ribbon-like and not round, it takes up a little less space. There is zero space in the back panel from where the cables plug into the PSU (due to the length) so they have to run immediately upwards. I sadly wasn't able to fit my sleeved cable extensions as they made the cables too long and there's no room to stuff them anywhere.
